I made my way down from Colonial Beach this morning beating back and forth against the current and wind. This is just a typical day of sailing, right? Once I turned up the St Marys river I was greeted by a nice breeze from behind and Kokoi and 6 other cruising boats made their way into the anchorage directly off the college. The campus was vacant of people and the race had just begun at 6PM from Annapolis. I cruised into the dinghy dock to join a few other fellow cruisers for some beers before calling it an early night. A pretty simple laid back day on the water without much excitement.
