Boston, MA

Finally a day of rest and relaxation.  When M.E. and I finally got out of bed around mid-day we expected to go downstairs and see everyone chippery but instead we found Uncle Mike still sleeping on the couch and Aunt Paula just beginning her cleaning routine from last night’s kitchen destruction.

We made some pulled pork sandwiches and decided we would go out on the boat today.  Uncle Mike took us on an incredible tour of Boston Harbor. We got up close and personal with Old Ironsides, downtown, the ferries and all of the islands throughout the harbor.  After a thorough tour of downtown we headed out to Little Brewster Lighthouse to do some fishing.

Within minutes of having the poles out M.E. got a huge hit and reeled in a 33″ Striper. After this huge catch we all decided to call it a day and head back to the house for a great fish dinner.  Uncle Mike grilled up the Striper and we pulled out all the sides from the previous night. Talk about a delicious meal. Tom and Nicole came by to say good bye and we all headed to bed early as everyone has work tomorrow and M.E. & I need to get up at 5 a.m. to get back on the road to Baltimore.

 Ready to catch some fish!
