Frances, Chelsea and I woke up early Saturday morning to head down to the Italian Market in Philadelphia. We had breakfast at a place called Sabrina’s and then we made our way through all sorts of shops offering Italian goods. We spent the morning sampling mozzarella with pesto, buying cannolis and biscottis and making our way around shelves full of olive oil and pasta.

After a couple of hours, we left the Italian Market to head over to 30th Street Station. I had a great time in Philly but it was time for me to get back to Baltimore to see Matt and Kokoi again. I said goodbye to Frances and Chelsea and back on Megabus I went.
When I hopped off the bus in Baltimore, Matt was there waiting for me. We made our way back to the boat and right as we stepped foot on Kokoi it began to rain. Perfect timing! We made lunch, napped and by sunset the rain had stopped. That night, the fort across from the anchorage began shooting off fireworks so Matt and I sat on the back deck and watched the whole show. It’s always a great feeling to get back home.
