New Orleans, LA

I still haven’t learned to not choose the early flight.  I was able to squeeze in a few hours of sleep last night and woke up around 6:30 for a quick shower and then the mile walk down to the shuttle pickup.  Our first flight of the day was pretty uneventful minus the takeoff and landing.  I think our pilot could have been flying blind or been at our party last night.  Either way he was way off his game.

We enjoyed some “great” food court Chinese food during our layover in Charlotte and then off on the next plane we went. We were picked up at the airport by my parents and nephews and headed to the house.

Time to fly to New Orleans!

When we got home my mom had one of my favorite snacks waiting for me, paneed veal cutlets. After eating about 10 of them, I crashed on the couch while M.E. and my mom stayed up late talking and drinking champagne.
Glad to be back at the house for champagne!

Veal cutlets, potatoes and green beans for dinner…welcome home!
