New Orleans, LA

Today was an early morning. My brother is out of town this week and my parents are taking care of my two nephews, Claude and Oliver. We got the boys dressed and ready for school and headed out of the house by 7 this morning. These little guys are great. They are such smart kids and the stuff they say is always hilarious.
M.E., my dad and I went to pick Ollie up from school around lunchtime. My dad had to get some new shoes, so M.E. and I took Ollie to Pontchartrain Po-boys for lunch. We spent an hour eating delicious fried shrimp po-boys and playing with the little guy. Let me tell you…the po-boy from Pontchartrain Po-boys was one of the best I have ever had. Another restaurant to add to my “must eat here” list!

Late in the afternoon, we all headed out of the house to take Claude to a birthday party. Along the way, I dropped M.E. off to meet up with her parents. Her parents were going to see Ole Miss play Tulane and were staying at The Ritz Carlton for a couple of days. She took the camera so I don’t have any pictures from the birthday party or the rest of the day but here are her pics from the rest of the day.
