In the past 24 hrs we have knocked off 105 miles at sea. The seas have been long period six foot rollers. A very pleasant ride downwind. We had no luck what so ever when it comes to fishing though. We saw not one bird in the sky and not a single flying fish come across the water. Spirits are still really high because we had pasta night which is always a huge hit on the boat underway.
The wind is beginning to slowly die down now and the night sky has not a hint of light anywhere in it. A nice bright moon makes a passage that much easier but no such luck so far this evening. Jamming to one of my all time favorites, Trevor Hall and reading a book using a headlamp in the cockpit. Good times so far.
