Rasta Man

This morning I was able to go into the club to get our despacho. Talk about a completely different experience than being in Cuba.  Everyone was so laid back and within ten minutes I had my paperwork and was out the door.

Our sail over to Negril on the West coast of Jamaica was pretty straight forward.  Luckily we had about 5 foot following seas the entire way which made for a quick sail.  We averaged 7.5 knots and the 30 miles was knocked down in no time at all.

Austin’s friends dad is here for a few weeks so we are going to hang with him.  We met up with Woody for drinks in the afternoon and then went for dinner at a nearby jerk chicken stand.  Thanks to Big Woody for a great first night here full of beers and great food.
