Living in a mountain town in the “valley” seems to be a pretty eclectic place. Everyday it amazes me just how friendly everyone is out here. I have never been anywhere in all of my travels where people walk up to you everywhere to introduce themselves. The population here is just large enough to keep things interesting and going while at the same time so small that is has the perfect vibe.
I’m not really sure where the days go but they seem to slowly just roll by. I spent my day reading, Let my people go surfing, by Yvon Chouinard founder of Patagonia. A great book on building a large company with a small grassroots campaign and having fun doing it. The afternoon was spent cruising around downtown at the farmers market and then out for an evening of Ultimate Frisbee. Sooner or later though I’m going to have to think of moving on and getting back to Panama. For now though I will just live day to day having fun and enjoying every second of life on the road.
